GOOD NEWS
Belantara will be working on the music for a movie -- now in production -- under Monsoon Pictures titled "Koya-Best". The band will be going into the studio once the shooting's completed. In conjunction, Belantara will also release THE new album containing the materials that they will be working on for the movie. God willing, the new album should be finished before the year ends. We might consider going on the road too!! Hope for the best.

Lastly, your fourth member, Benson Lee is a tall dude, teach guitar in Bentley (maybe used to teach)? Or I got the wrong dude.

Assalamualaikum ..... memang bagus .... teman memang dah lama sangat menanti album korang keluar ..... kenapa korang stop buat album .... aku cukup minat kat susunan muzik korang ..... ada kelainan dari band2 lain ..... aku masih ingat lagu Menari Di Dalam Hujan .... tak silap aku ....tune lagu tu masih ada kat dalam kepala aku .... tak de ke niat nak di remaster lagu2 tu dan buat dalam bentuk cd ..... coz kaset korang tu dah yang first dah putus .... susah nak cari lagi .... harap2 masih kekalkan konsep muzik yang sama dalam album baru nanti ... selamat maju jaya

Aku salute la dgn korang punya music. Kalau bawak lagu "heavy" macam "Jebat", perhh ... with double lead guitars attack tu... pure class! Macam band Halloween.
Bila bawa lagu slow macam Airmata, Sutra ... meleleh beb ... syahdu + touching habis.
You guys have great talent! Some people out there (like me) rate you guys on par with "Search" & "Wings". You guys should know that. Only things is, your record company sux! They done nothing for your promo. Itu sebab Belantara ni tak ramai yg kenal. Kalau lah korang tukar pergi BMG ke EMI ke, I think paling kurang pun, your legacy will be in the same level as Bumiputra Rockers, MAY or XPDC.
Ramai orang yg masih kagum dan minat dgn "Belantara" ni. Tapi sayang, ramai dari kami yg "frust" sebab tunggu album baru tak keluar-keluar. Band members pun senyap jer takde cerita. Your fans feel like Belantara has abandon them. Sedih bro.
It's nice to know that Belantara will come out with a new album. But, before you do that, I suggest you guys re-release back all of your albums from Belantara, Srikandi and Infiniti. Sebab banyak tape yg samada dah rosak ataupun dah hilang.
Aku sendiri dah lose count berapa banyak kali aku beli album korang ni. Paling kurang aku rasa dah 8 kali kot. Semua leboh!!! Mana pegi, aku tak tahu lah! Beli yg compilation punya pun leboh jugak. Gila betul.
Until, one day, aku pergi kedai kaset nak cari album Belantara ... dah tak jumpa dah. Yang ada tinggal compilation album saja. (produce in 2001 if I'm not mistaken). Aku rasa dah 10 tahun aku tak dengar lagu "Jebat" & "Dewi". 10 tahun bro!!! Sedih ... but yet, melodi & lirik dia still "fresh" dalam kepala aku ni. Amazing!
Jgn frustrate your fans lagi; Zaid, Aziz & Shukry. Aku harap dengan apa yg aku tulis ni, korang akan dapat semangat baru untuk hidupkan kembali Belantara!

on how to get our previous album, will try to source out for you. Will post here once got that figured out. Thank for your support. We hope to do something special for you guys/gals(?)when the time comes. Hoping it to be sooner than later.
